Lasagna Love

Many times growing up in my neighborhood in Watts, CA, the hot meals served by organizations and shelters were the groceries that we needed.

In fact, the place where I received the most meals was at school. Unfortunately, my family was unable to have the immediate access I had at school, even though they were also in need of a meal during the tough times that would arise.

Below are two ways you can give back and one resource you can go to for help if needed: Helps Friends Save Money

By providing a meal for friends in need, you open up the opportunity for them to save the groceries they do have and be granted the gift to receive amazing support.

Helps Friends Save Time

By providing a meal, you grant friends the opportunity to have a delicious home-cooked meal without spending the time and save precious time for those overwhelmed by the pressures of life.

Supports Friends in Feeling Loved

A meal can warm the heart, comfort the soul, and be a tangible reminder that friends are called for and loved. What better way to show others you care, and that they are valued, than delivering a delicious hot meal to their door?

Share Lasagna Love with Friends

If you or someone you know is in need, please share about Lasagna Love with them. Lasagna Love is a national nonprofit organization that provides hot lasagna to families in need, for free.

There is a large cohort of volunteers in the community who make lasagna for those in need. Click here to learn more about this amazing organization!

This would have been a major resource for me growing up, and I hope this will help you in the coming future.
