Kelly Corrigan is the author of four New York Times best sellers, and her accolades are well-deserved. She can write!

In Tell Me More, Corrigan uses interesting stories to illustrate the meaning of connection, giving us a greater sense of what it is to be human. Her personable stories emphasize the importance of understanding love, regret, loss, and connection, experiences I didn’t fully appreciate when I was younger. Now, as I’m turning 40, I can appreciate how a deeper understanding of these experiences make you a better leader. As I learn more about leadership, I see how the ability to connect and empathize can change your perspective. In fact, I don’t think you can be a great leader unless you understand what it is to be human, because leadership is about people, understanding them and connecting with them.

I will always recommend a book if it gives us a greater understanding of the human experience, and Tell Me More does that beautifully.
