We are women and men from all walks of life who agree that leadership should reflect the gender of the population: women make up half, or more, of our population and should be included in equal numbers in boardrooms, in elected office, in academia, in the professions and in all public and private enterprises and endeavors.
That 50% of leaders are women
To empower women as leaders and to transform the culture within which we live to one that naturally includes women on an equal basis in the selection of leaders
Why We Chose Purple and Gold as Our Colors:
The suffragists who spent 82 years fighting for our right to vote used these colors in developing their “brand” so that they could be recognized. In honor of those brave and courageous women, we duplicate those colors on our site to remind us that we can do anything we set our minds to.
When Women Lead…
• Boards are more effective because women bring a different perspective
•Businesses are more profitable when there are women included in top management
• Conflict resolution is swifter and more permanent
• Girls have role models to follow
• Women are attracted to those organizations as members, consumers, and investors
